The Bad Times lip-sync, with you in it
Bad Times is the lip-sync bit where someone pretends to argue with the camera. Upload one photo of yourself and we will make a 10-second vertical clip. From $6.99.
One photo of you (or your pet), face fully visible, looking toward the camera if you can.
Updated October 21, 2026
Bad Times is a lip-sync bit. One person looks into the camera and acts out a fight with it: pointing, throwing up a hand, then leaning in close to the lens as if to make a point. It is tied to one song, and the fun is in the timing and the faces.
It spread because it asks so little. You need one person, one camera and a big reaction. People do it alone, with a pet, or as a joke about a bad day.
Bad Times AI builds that bit around you. Our video model follows the staging, framing and timing of a motion reference and animates the person in your photo. You upload one photo, and you play the person arguing with the camera.
Neither. A camera filter changes a video of you that you filmed, and a face swap app puts a face into someone else's footage.
Put Me In makes a new 10-second clip in which the person or pet in your photo performs the scene themselves.
We don't offer face swap onto another person's photo or video.
Bad Times AI by Put Me In is an independent tool. We have no connection with the people, the song or anyone who owns them in the original Bad Times videos. “Bad Times” is used only to describe the trend.
One photo of you, or of a pet. Use a clear, front-facing photo with the whole face visible.
Pick 480p, 720p or 1080p, then add your photos. We review them first and you pay once, after they pass. If a photo doesn't pass, nothing is charged.
It takes a few minutes. You can close the page: the finished clip waits under My videos, labelled AI generated.

Everyday photos from your camera roll work, of people or of pets. It helps if the face is clear and the light is good.
You pay once per video, from $6.99. Nothing renews.
Three ways to get into a meme, and what each one actually shows.
| Method | Who is on screen | Whose moves |
|---|---|---|

One video, one payment. You pick the quality first, then pay when your photos pass the check.

No. A video starts at $6.99 for 480p. You pay once per video. There is no subscription, and a photo that does not pass the check is never charged.
One. The person in that photo plays the person arguing with the camera.
Yes, a pet photo is allowed for this template. Cats and dogs work as a photo. Animals can look less natural when they act out the gestures, so a clear face helps.

A clear, front-facing photo of one person with the whole face visible and even light. A face that looks toward the camera suits this bit. Skip sunglasses, masks and heavy filters.
Neither. A filter changes a video you filmed, and a face swap puts a face into someone else's footage. We make a new 10-second clip in which the person in your photo performs the bit. We don't offer face swap onto another person's video.
No music is added. The clip is silent, so you can add your own sound when you post it. Lip movement follows the performance but will not match every word.
