How to Make a Smalltown Boy AI Video From Two Photos

How to make a Smalltown Boy AI video from two photos, with people or pets, and what you get.

Smalltown Boy is a two-person gesture dance: a pair side by side, facing the camera, running through big hand moves and over-the-top faces. It works with friends and it works with pets. Put Me In's version puts your two photos in the two spots.

What you need

Two photos: the Left dancer and the Right dancer. The subject of the left photo plays the left spot, and the subject of the right photo plays the right spot.

  • One person or one pet per photo. A photo with two subjects in it won't work.
  • Face fully visible. For a pet, show the face, ears and markings.
  • If you use two pets that look alike, pick photos that make the difference clear, like different poses or light.
  • The two photos don't need to be taken together or in the same place.
  • Only use photos of yourself, friends who agreed, and your own pets. Photos of celebrities, public figures or anyone under 18 are not allowed. More in how to pick photos.

Steps

  1. Open the Smalltown Boy page and pick a quality. See pricing for what each quality costs.
  2. Add the left photo, then the right photo.
  3. We check both photos. If one doesn't pass, nothing is charged and you can try another.
  4. Pay once. There is no subscription.
  5. Your clip appears under My videos in a few minutes. You can close the page while it renders.

What to expect

The video is 15 seconds, in a 3:4 portrait frame. It's marked AI generated.

The model follows the scene and animates the subjects of your photos. Pet faces and fine details can vary from one render to the next, so check the result before you share it. If a render fails on our side, you get a full refund.
