How to Make a Closed on Sunday AI Video From One or Two Photos

How to make a Closed on Sunday AI video: one photo for the lead singer, an optional second for the whole choir, and what you get.

Closed on Sunday is a choir clip: a lead singer in the middle and a ring of singers around. The Closed on Sunday AI template puts the people in your photos into it.

What to prepare

You need one photo, and you can add a second.

  • Photo one: the lead singer. Required. This face goes to the singer in the middle.
  • Photo two: the choir face. Optional. This one face is copied to every member of the choir. Leave it out and the choir stays as the scene has it.

Pick photos where the person is alone, facing the camera, with the whole face visible and even light. Skip sunglasses, masks and heavy filters. See the photo tips guide for more. Use photos of yourself or of friends who agreed to appear. Photos of public figures or anyone under 18 are not allowed.

The steps

  1. Open the Closed on Sunday page.
  2. Upload the lead singer's photo.
  3. If you want, upload a choir photo.
  4. Pick 480p, 720p or 1080p. See pricing for what each costs.
  5. We review the photos first. If one doesn't pass, nothing is charged and you can swap it.
  6. Pay once. There is no subscription.
  7. The clip shows up under My videos in a few minutes.

Things specific to this scene

  • One face, many bodies. With a choir photo, every singer around the lead has the same face. That is the joke. Choose a face that looks good repeated a dozen times.
  • Small faces. Singers at the back and the edges are small, so their faces come out less sharp than the lead's.
  • Lead only is fine. One photo already gives you a clip with you at the center of the choir.

What you get

A 14-second MP4 in 16:9 widescreen. It is marked as AI generated. If we can't make your video, you get a full refund.
