Topo Gigio is a football goal celebration. The scorer lifts both hands beside his ears and wiggles his fingers, like big round mouse ears. The Topo Gigio AI version makes that moment from one photo of you.
Where It Came From
People call the celebration Topo Gigio after an Italian mouse puppet with oversized ears. That is where the name comes from, and it is all we can say about the puppet here.
We can't confirm which match or which player first did the celebration, or when it started, and we don't say who is in the videos. We have no first post to point to. What we can describe is the gesture: both hands beside the ears, fingers moving. It spread because it is silly, easy to copy and easy to recognize in a second.
How People Play It
The celebration needs no props, so it is easy to copy.
- Do it yourself. Score a goal, real or pretend, and put your hands up beside your ears.
- Do it in a group. A team or a group of friends does it together after a goal.
- Make an AI version. You give the model a photo and it makes the clip, with no pitch and no filming.
The gesture is the joke. The fingers wiggle like cartoon ears, and the straighter the face, the funnier it looks.
AI Version, Filter and Face Tools
These are three different things.
- A filter adds an effect to a video you filmed. You still have to be on camera.
- A face tool puts a face onto someone else's footage. Put Me In doesn't offer that, and doesn't take another person's video or photo for it.
- An AI version like ours makes a new clip. The person in your one photo plays the player doing the celebration, in a scene the template sets.
The model follows the scene and animates the person in your photo: the pose, the turn of the head and the hands by the ears. The stadium and the other people stay as the scene has them. Fingers can blur or merge for a frame when the hands move fast. Every video is labeled AI generated.
It does not turn you into a mouse, and no mouse ears are added. The name is only the name of the celebration.
Is It Connected to the Original?
No. Put Me In is an independent tool with no connection to any player, match or puppet character, or to anyone who owns them. "Topo Gigio" is used only to name the celebration.
